This is one of the rarest of the rare discontinued Bethany Lowe Creeping Skeletons. It is new old stock. It has never been used or displayed and was unwrapped for these photos only. It comes with its original tag. The skeleton is made of hand painted resin.
The JOL hand painted paper mâché with an aged crackle finish. Bethany Lowe then redesigned the skeleton as paper mâchè. The JOL stayed the same for both versions.
Ive included one photo showing how the ribs on the resin skeleton are molded whereas the ones on the paper mache are painted on. There are lots of small detail differences but I didnt want to waste photos on them. The resin skeleton is substantially heavier than the paper mache one.It is 2 separate piecesthe skeleton and the JOL. Assembled, it is 17 1/2 tall by 13 1/2 wide by 16 deep. It does not have a hole in the JOL for a C7 light cord, but I really liked it illuminated, so I just dropped the light cord down the back. You can always cut a hole in the back if you want to. These were not provided by Bethany Lowe, but I have taken the liberty of including one for your convenience.
